Review
If you are looking for an entry level BMX bike which offers to you reliability, performance, strength and endurance, the Venom AM BMX can certainly be considered as an option. This bike comes with a robust steel frame and a full chromly steel fork. This one features a steel 25t sprocket. Alienation Graffiti tires team up with 36-h Alienation PBR rims to ensure that the bike is strong enough to take on whatever you throw at it. The bike comes with an SST ORYG detangler which allows a 360o handle sweep.
The brakes of this bike fail to impress though. They are pretty sluggish and lack the fire power. The hubs and the bearings are pretty fragile also and do not have the guts to take on the poundings in the skate park. In order to get the most out of this bike, you will have to upgrade the brakes, the seat, the pedals and the front and rear hub set. The bike does not ship assembled although assembly is quite straight forward and should not pose any major problem. In case you do not feel confident, make sure you take it to your local bike store to get it rolling.
Overall, this bike looks quite decent for its price. The bicycle is quite strong which can be attributed to its chromoly frame. The weight is also right on the money. The price point at which the bike is being offered seems quite reasonable considering the components of this bike and the performance it delivers. The Venom AM BMX is certainly value for your money and if you are looking for a reliable entry level BMX bike within a modest budget, this one can be a good choice.
